Relationships—The studies to follow focus particularly upon relationships prior to marriage as well as those within and outside of the marriage bond. This week’s study focuses upon the marriage relationship.
Interesting fact: Many sermons have been preached along with many songs sung about a land called Beulah. Though the name for most Christians is quite familiar, the definition and meaning of Beulah is lesser known. According to Isaiah 62:4, the land of Israel shall be called Beulah because it will be married. According to Revelation 21:9-10, the holy Jerusalem descending from heaven will be called “the Lamb’s wife.”
Bible study tip: Some of Paul’s epistles were written while Paul was being held as a prisoner in Rome. In order to identify which epistles were written while he was imprisoned, the Bible student should hone in on words such as “prisoner” (Ephesians 3:1; Ephesians 4:1) and “bonds” (Ephesians 6:20).
